"Failed City Policy Ahead" - Los Angeles Street Signs highlight city’s Homeless crisis  - Angelenos navigating the city streets this week were left wondering if some new street signs we a new honest approach to the cities issues. Authentic looking metal street signs plastered near homeless encampments, reading "Failed City Policy Ahead" in bold red lettering. The guerilla signage, is believe to be the work of notorious street artist ‘Plastic Jesus’, has ignited a fresh wave of debate regarding the city's handling of its persistent homelessness crisis.

The signs, mounted on existing lampposts appeared near encampments in Hollywood, Skid Row, and Downtown Los Angeles, with one sign in the shadow of the Oceanside Plaza - a high-rise development that was hit but dozen of ‘taggers’ in February, all areas with highly visible homeless populations.

The "Failed City Policy Ahead" signs, regardless of their origin or intent, have undeniably thrust the city's homelessness crisis back into the spotlight. Whether they spark productive dialogue or further ignite tensions, they serve as a potent reminder of the urgency to find lasting solutions for this complex and ever-growing challenge.

The British born artist had previously installed “No Kardashian Parking’ signs around Hollywood, and during the run up to the 2016 election teamed up with a group of artists across the USA to place “No Trump Anytime” signs at dozens of locations.
